The parameters to be provided to this subtemplate are described in the documentation for {{Shelf:Page}}, except for one introduced by {{Shelf:Page}} when calling here.

• shelf — the name of the shelf whose page content is to be displayed, without its Shelf: prefix.

This subtemplate ignores unnamed parameter 1, which may be incidentally passed through from {{Shelf:Page}}.

ၽၢႆႇၼႂ်း

This subtemplate customizes parameter values — such as providing default values for parameters not specified — and delegates the actual display generation to {{Shelf:Page/display2}}. For this subtemplate to function correctly it should be called from {{Shelf:Page}} using one of the Module:TScope#Call functions, so that parameters not provided to {{Shelf:Page}} are not provided here, rather than merely being blank.
